The APREA Property Leaders Forum has become the major annual event for the property industry's leaders to convene and discuss the challenges facing the industry. As global financial circumstances change, the importance and value of this event has never been greater. It is a major opportunity for the leaders in our industry to share observations and debate strategies. The 2012 theme is Asia: Capital Meets Opportunity.
The 2012 Forum will include:
- special sessions critiquing the traditional formulation of real estate funds and strategies for investors and fund managers to maximise performance in today's challenging financial environments;
- an interactive group discussion on the Asian markets – is it just about China?
- interactive panel discussions examining the growth of Asian capital and opportunities available to investors and managers; and
- a special interview of leading Asian CEOs on the trends impacting the real estate industry in 2012.
Leading experts will share their views on the performance and value of Asian REITs as an asset class, looking at possible constraints on their future development and also opportunities that can be unlocked for investors.
A presentation on APREA's research project on the benefits of an allocation to Asian real estate for institutional investors will also be included in the program. This will be followed by a discussion on the performance and investment characteristics of listed real estate, drawing on the latest global research and views from North America.
The Forum will also offer Investor Day for invited member corporates and institutional investors.
APREA will also host its innovative closed-door CEO Roundtable for senior executives of full members and pension fund members as part of the Forum.
At the APREA Property Leaders Forum 2012, you will have opportunities to advise on how APREA, as the leading organisation in Asia that represents and promotes the real estate asset class, should respond to challenges in our markets, and assist its members achieve their objectives in 2012 and beyond.
Last but not the least, you can also experience lively, cosmopolitan Hong Kong.
